We all realized their challenges in the most menial of tasks that we do not even think twice of , however what we witnessed was their courage and determination to overcome and exceed far beyond the expectations of society and the limits we "able -beings" place on our selves.
The Social Relations Officer kept urging us to different classes as school was going to be out early but all of us had a hard time tearing ourselves away from the children.
Many believe that charity is helping others,that in some way however small we changed them, affected them.
But I believe they helped us. Helped us in realizing we have so much to be thankful for, in humbling our egos and changing our perspective of strife and struggle, to tugging our hearts with their warmth and affection.
